The Perience

Welcome to the 6th annual LEDx (Leadership Educational Development eXperience) Conference. LEDx always features a diverse group of leaders from military, academia, and community sectors who engage in thought provoking discussions that inspire, inform, and initiate new conversations.

This one-day event, Wednesday, 30 October will be held at The Eagle Instiute, located in the historic Kress Building in the heart of Downtown Montgomery. This event is focusing on leadership, innovation, and strategy. This year is LEDx:Kobayashi which alludes to the famous “Kobayashi Maru” from Star Trek, a no-win scenario designed to test the character and decision-making of Starfleet cadets. In Japanese, “Kobayashi” means “small forest,” symbolizing a place of strategic contemplation and growth.

At this event you will hear from speakers from Air University, University of Cambridge, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Auburn University, Stanford University, and The Hoover Institute. The keynote speaker will be Major General Parker H. Wright, Commander of the Curtis LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education and the Deputy Commander of Air University.

The attire for event is business casual/civilian attire. Parking details are just a few scrolls down – we will pay for your parking if you park in the dedicated parking deck. If you making reservations for multiple people, please select the adequ amount of tickets. Hope to see you there!

For any additional questions, please email DeVanté Snell, Chief of Events & Public Outreach at devante@auix.org.
