The sixth annual Leadership Educational Development eXperience conference, hosted by the Curtis E. Lemay Center for Doctrine Development and Education and the Air University Innovation Accelerator, was held at the Eagle Institute in Montgomery, Alabama, Oct. 30, 2024.

The Curtis E. Lemay Center for Doctrine and Education and the Air University Innovation Accelerator are teaming up to present the sixth Leadership Educational Development eXperience at the Eagle Institute in Montgomery, Alabama, Oct. 30, 2024.

William & Mary student Kelly Shinners ’25 is using an internship with the Air University Innovation Accelerator (AUiX) to make a real-world impact on the nation’s security and operational readiness. And her work is gaining attention at the highest levels of the U.S. Air Force.

Military and civilian leaders from across the Department of the Air Force recently convened at Air University to discuss the emerging role of artificial intelligence in future warfighting. These discussions took place at the Air University Symposium, “Harnessing AI for Information Advantage” event, hosted at Maxwell Air Force Base May 1-2, 2024.

The Eagle Institute, located in the historic Kress building, will be hosting ‘Parent Tech Night’ on Wednesday, December 6th. The event is part of the celebration of Computer Science Education Week.

Hear from the students of Pella: Fly, a strategic initiative designed to deliver transformative aviation experiences to the youth of the Alabama River Region. Pella: Fly is a partnership program between AUiX and the Box Aviation. The initiative aimed to expose students to aviation through both manned and unmanned flight discovery and instruction.

The Air University Innovation Accelerator(AUiX) recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new ‘The Eagle Institute’ located in the Kress building on Dexter Avenue. The Eagle Institute is a dedicated Air University innovation center devoted to cultivating a culture of innovation, both within and beyond the Air Force.
