Sharpening the Warfighter’s Edge: AI-Driven Learning for Tactical Precision and Operational Dominance

Major Sean C Ritter is the Chief Data Officer at Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), an Air University Fellow, and one of the lead instructors for the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Leadership (DSAIL) Specialization program at the College. As Chief Data Officer, Major Ritter leads the College’s efforts to apply data science principles in the academic curriculum and to the school’s administrative functions. He also instructs in the specialization program and mentors a student project team.

Major Ritter graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2011 as an AFROTC graduate and was selected for his first assignment as an in-residence graduate student at the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has served in a variety of analytical domains, including operational test and evaluation, headquarters and combatant command staff and deployed operations analysis at the Combined Air Operations Center. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Operations Research and Data Management Team Lead at United States Strategic Command.
