Jeremy VanEgmond serves as the Chief of the Eagle Institute and Education Lab for the Air University Innovation Accelerator (AUiX) at Maxwell Air Force Base. A dedicated advocate for learner-centered education, he specializes in novel educational technologies and innovative learning methodologies that empower educators and students across diverse curricula.
Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Jeremy began his career in Montgomery, Alabama, in 2009, working as a teacher, coach, and school administrator. His work has spanned K-12 and post-secondary education in both public and private institutions, where he has contributed through teaching, leadership, conference presentations, and publications.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in Math Education from Faulkner University and an M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University Montgomery. He is a Certified Professional Innovator through the University of Michigan’s Innovatrium and a LEGO® Serious Play™ Facilitator through Strategic Play.
Beyond education, Jeremy is passionate about music, cooking, and the outdoors, continuously finding ways to blend creativity and experiential learning into his professional and personal endeavors. He and his wife, Rachel, have three children.
