Chief, Wargame Lab

Colonel (Ret) Doug DeMaio serves as the Chief of the Wargame lab at AUiX. He was commissioned at the Air Force Academy in 1991 and is a Euro-NATO Joint-Jet Pilot Training graduate. He commanded the 55th Fighter Squadron, NATO’s Deployable Air Operations Center, and the 187th Fighter Wing. Doug attended the Army’s Command and General Staff College, and earned masters degrees from the School of Advanced Military Studies and the Eisenhower School for National Security. He is a founding member of the Air Force’s Multi-Domain Command and Control, and Electronic Warfare/Electromagnetic Spectrum development teams, and co-authored Joint All-Domain Operations, Counterspace, Agile Combat Employment, and Mission Command doctrine. Doug is a Command Pilot with over 2,800 hours in the F-16 and is a veteran of five deployments to Southwest Asia.
