Patrick O’Leary is a Production Manager in the textiles division of Medline Industries, LP. Patrick assists with the development of GMT Games’ popular Men of Iron and Great Battles of the American Civil War series as playtester and evaluator. He is an experienced wargaming enthusiast and amateur strategist, specializing in the use of conflict simulations to model complex processes and simulate potential outcomes. With a focus on applying game methodologies to real world scenarios, he has facilitated strategic simulations that build critical thinking skills in dynamic environments.

An avid collector and player of historical wargames, Patrick has amassed a collection of over 300 titles. In the last three years he has recorded over 2000 games played against nearly 600 different opponents. Though he prefers face-to-face encounters, most games are conducted online using services like Vassal.

Patrick holds a BS of Industrial & Systems Engineering from Auburn University. He lives in the metro Atlanta area with his wife Kirsten and son Teagan, who just celebrated his first birthday.
