Daniel Kroth

AI and National Security

Daniel Kroth is a founding member of the Next Frontier Seminar, a nonprofit which supports undergraduate student research at the intersections of national security and emerging technology. He is also a Senior Researcher at CARMA, where he leads the Public Security Policy program. His prior experience spans international security and technology policy with appointments at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Special Competitive Studies Project, and the Wilson Center’s Science and Technology Innovation Program. Daniel holds a master’s degree in international security and in technology and global affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with additional study at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, and Sichuan University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
