Tony Montelepre is a retired Air Force Lt Col who serves as the Lab Chief, Program Management and Operations for AUiX. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1991 as a Navigational and Meteorological Systems Specialist and later became a Communications Operator on the E4B. In 1998, he was commissioned through the ROTC program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and became an Airfield Operations Officer. Throughout his career Tony held many positions at the flight, squadron, wing and headquarters level to include Squadron Commander, Chief of Airfield Operations at HQ Air Force Flight Standards Agency and the Deputy Chairman for the Leadership Department at Air Command and Staff College. He has master’s degrees in Aviation Administration and Military Operational Art and Science.
