The Societal Impact of Digital Convergence

Dr. David is the Acting Associate Dean for Research for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. With a faculty appointment in the Department of Chemical Engineering, he has worked in the field of nanomaterials for more than 20 years and focused on their biomedical applications for more than fifteen years. The over-arching theme of the work has been the surface modification of nanomaterials to bring about “smart” properties. Dr. David is also an entrepreneur as co-founder of the start-up Nanoxort LLC, which is developing novel MRI contrast agents.
